Grape Lamp

Design by Takaai Tsuchiya
A 6" x 12-1/4" layered-column lamp with fused grapes. The lamp is constructed using open-ended cubes of various depths done in bone cast opal glass and stacked in spiraling layers to create the column-shaped lamp. Nestled along the sides are grape leaves and tendrils that are set off with grapes, which are fused to give them a rounded, realistic appearance. The column of the lamp is constructed using the copper foil technique.
