A freestanding Butterfly Queen metal casting decorated with wire and assorted glass beads. Wings are created by using the pattern to shape various gauges of pre-tinned wire, adding more wire curlicue shapes, and finishing the wings by attaching glass beads in various shapes and sizes. The completed wings are then soldered to the cast metal body.
