Bluebird of Happiness An Introduction to Glass Painting

Design, Fabrication, and Text by Peter McGrain

Peter McGrain shares techniques for painting glass using his patented Vitri-Fusáille® method that combines the simple processes for fusing flat glass with fundamental traditional glass painting techniques. This beginner project features a bluebird in flight that is painted in layers using traditional glass stainer colors and fused on a glass tile, a technique that allows artists to create a very detailed and specific image in glass.
