A 7‑3/4" x 6‑5/8" cheerful free-form caroling cardinal suncatcher that is part of a collection of caroling woodland birds and animals from Christmas Traditions in Glass by Terra Parma. The bird pattern includes a base support to make it possible to use the cardinal in a freestanding holiday scene. Careful glass selection adds to the depth and realism of the piece, and details can be added with paint and copper wire. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique.
